Start or resume a scan
Open Library and tap Scan or Resume Scan. Siftory processes screenshots in saved batches. If your iPhone becomes warm, processing can pause to protect the device; your completed work remains saved and can resume after the phone cools.
Photos access and missing screenshots
Siftory is designed to index screenshots, not ordinary camera photos. In Settings, check Photos permission and use Add Photos-recognized screenshots when an eligible screenshot is available in Photos but was not detected automatically. With Limited Photos Access, only selected eligible screenshots are available to Siftory.
Correct a category
Open a memory and choose another category. Manual corrections stay on the device and help Siftory learn your preferences. Premium users can also create custom categories and find related screenshots.
Premium and purchases
Open Settings and select Siftory Premium to see the active entitlement and included features. Purchases are handled by Apple. If Premium does not appear after a purchase or reinstall, tap Restore Purchases and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Private iCloud organization sync
Optional iCloud sync shares organization metadata such as custom categories, manual choices, favorites, notes, reminders, and learned keywords through your private iCloud database. It does not upload screenshot images, previews, or recognized text. Both devices must use the same iCloud account and have the matching screenshots available locally.
Optional Enhanced AI
Premium users can explicitly enable Enhanced AI for eligible Unsorted items. It sends a redacted OCR excerpt—not the screenshot image—to Siftory’s secured service for a category suggestion. You can stop the review or disable the feature in Settings.
Reminders and deletion
Reminder notifications require permission in iOS Settings. Deleting an original uses Apple Photos’ confirmation and normally moves the item to Recently Deleted. Remove Only from Siftory keeps the Photos original and prevents automatic re-import until you restore ignored screenshots in Settings.

Email support@siftory.co. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, Siftory build number, and a description of what happened. Do not email private screenshot contents unless they are necessary and you are comfortable sharing them.
